Terms of Service
Effective 22 October 2026. These Terms govern access to Simplesurface, operated by Simplesurface Technology Solutions Private Limited, incorporated in India.
1. Accounts
Keep your account details accurate and current. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you must be at least 18. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
2. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully. Do not try to get around its security or reach other people's data, do not use it to train a competing model without our consent, and do not resell it.
3. Bring-your-own-keys
When you use your own model keys, the costs, usage, and limits on those keys are yours. Follow your provider's terms. We are not an intermediary or a guarantor for them, and you should not share your keys.
4. Payment and your balance
You pay as you go, in US dollars. You add funds to your balance and research is charged against it; the price of bigger jobs is shown before they run. A new account starts with a small balance at no charge. There are no subscriptions or monthly plans.
Funds you add do not expire. Payments are not refundable, including when you close your account, except where the law requires a refund. We may look at a refund request case by case. We give notice before a price change. Non-payment may lead to suspension, and taxes are extra.
5. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your content, and you grant us a limited licence to store and process it so the Service can work. We own the platform itself. If you send us feedback, we can use it.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided as is. AI output is not professional advice, we do not warrant its accuracy, and we do not guarantee uptime.
7. Limitation of liability
Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
8. Termination
You can close your account at any time in settings. We may suspend the Service for a material breach. Export your work before you close your account; deletion then follows our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru, India.
10. Changes
We give 14 days' notice of material changes. Continuing to use the Service means you accept them.
